An Explorer is a person who investigates unknown regions. It is symbolic of the journey in which an education takes you. There are many paths that each person travels, but the Memorial Charger Challenge culminates in graduation. It is not where we start with your child, but our journey together as we encourage and develop your child’s personal and educational potential, so that they are ultimately prepared for success in various post-secondary opportunities. Explorers’ team joins the parents and community members to assist the students in developing skills to become independent and self-sufficient adults who will succeed and contribute responsibly in a global community.

Team Explorers is a highly motivated group of students and teachers ready to make a difference in the world! Students are taught with materials that relate to both other core courses and real world situations. Teachers focus on helping students make positive choices with their friends, peers, and parents.
Mission: To provide each student a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning.
Goal: All students will earn all credits available freshman year laying a firm foundation for the conquest of high school. By earning all of their credits freshman year, they will gain the greatest advantage in passing the Core 40 tests required for graduation. The Core 40 must be passed in order for students to earn their chosen diploma, which tests every student’s Math, English, and Biology skills.
